Article R15-29 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

As an exception to the provisions of 2° of Article R. 15-19 and 3° of Article R. 15-20, officers and agents of the judicial police belonging to the zonal or departmental border police directorates or to the territorial border police services of the territorial directorates of the national police are competent to operate on the entire railway domain within the jurisdiction of the zonal directorate to which they belong and the bordering zonal directorates.

Par dérogation aux dispositions du 2° de l’article R. 15-19 et du 3° de l’article R. 15-20, les officiers et agents de police judiciaire appartenant aux directions zonales ou départementales de la police aux frontières ou aux services territoriaux de police aux frontières des directions territoriales de la police nationale sont compétents pour opérer sur l’ensemble du domaine ferroviaire du ressort de la direction zonale à laquelle ils appartiennent et des directions zonales limitrophes.
