Article R15-33-11 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

The magistrate delegated to the judicial missions of the customs and tax authorities shall ensure compliance with the principles set out in articles R. 15-33-18 and R. 15-33-19.

It provides customs officers responsible for judicial police missions with information on the meaning of their missions and the practical conditions under which they are carried out.

It makes proposals to the judicial authority on the types of judicial police missions that could be entrusted to customs officers.

Le magistrat délégué aux missions judiciaires de la douane et de l’administration fiscale veille au respect des principes énoncés aux articles R. 15-33-18 et R. 15-33-19.

Il donne aux agents des douanes chargés de missions de police judiciaire des éléments d’information sur le sens de leurs missions et les conditions pratiques de l’exécution de celles-ci.

Il fait des propositions à l’autorité judiciaire sur les types de missions de police judiciaire qui pourraient être confiées aux agents des douanes.
