Article R15-33-14 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

An individual file concerning the activity of each customs officer authorised to carry out judicial police missions is kept permanently at the public prosecutor’s office at the Paris court of appeal.

This file includes in particular:

1° Applications for authorisation and the documents attached thereto;

2° Copies of decisions handed down by the judicial authority pursuant to the provisions of Articles 28-1, 224 to 229, R. 15-33-8 and R. 15-33-9, including copies of authorisation orders;

3° A copy of any document issued by a magistrate relating to the performance of judicial activities by the person concerned;

4° Ratings drawn up pursuant to the provisions below.

The file is communicated to the Investigating Chamber when the case is referred to it under the conditions set out in Article 225.

Il est tenu en permanence au parquet général près la cour d’appel de Paris un dossier individuel concernant l’activité de chaque agent des douanes habilité à exercer des missions de police judiciaire.

Ce dossier comprend notamment :

1° Les demandes d’habilitation et les documents qui y sont joints ;

2° La copie des décisions prononcées par l’autorité judiciaire en application des dispositions des articles 28-1, 224 à 229, R. 15-33-8 et R. 15-33-9, notamment la copie des arrêtés d’habilitation ;

3° La copie de tout document émanant d’un magistrat relatif à l’exercice des activités judiciaires de l’intéressé ;

4° Les notations établies en application des dispositions ci-après.

Le dossier est communiqué à la chambre de l’instruction lorsque celle-ci se trouve saisie dans les conditions fixées à l’article 225.
