Article R15-33-27-1 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

The private security guard is approved by order of the prefect for a renewable period of five years. The approval order specifies the nature of the offences that the private security guard is responsible for recording, within the limits of the rights available to the principal and in application of the legislative provisions that authorise him to do so.

The commission mentioned in Article R. 15-33-24 is appended to the order.

The principal shall issue the private security guard with an approval card that includes the particulars specified by joint order of the Minister of the Interior and the ministers concerned.

The licence card is endorsed by the prefect.

Article R15-33-27-1

Le garde particulier est agréé par arrêté du préfet pour une durée de cinq ans, renouvelable. L’arrêté d’agrément indique la nature des infractions que le garde particulier est chargé de constater, dans les limites des droits dont dispose le commettant et en application des dispositions législatives qui l’y autorisent.

La commission mentionnée à l’article R. 15-33-24 est annexée à l’arrêté.

Le commettant délivre au garde particulier une carte d’agrément qui comporte les mentions prévues par arrêté conjoint du ministre de l’intérieur et des ministres intéressés.

La carte d’agrément est visée par le préfet.
