Article R1511-40 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The subsidies provided for in articles L. 2251-4, L. 3232-4 et au 6° de l’article L. 4211-1 shall be the subject of a written application by the operator of the establishment which already holds or will hold the authorisation to practise issued, under the conditions laid down in Articles L. 212-2 to L. 212-5 of the Code du cinéma et de l’image animée for the theatre or theatres of the said establishment.

For the application of articles R. 1511-40 to R. 1511-43, the term “establishment” refers to any facility used by the operator in a specific location and which is operated independently. Itinerant operations are also considered as establishments.

Les subventions prévues aux articles L. 2251-4, L. 3232-4 et au 6° de l’article L. 4211-1 font l’objet d’une demande écrite de l’exploitant de l’établissement déjà titulaire ou futur titulaire de l’autorisation d’exercice délivrée, dans les conditions prévues aux articles L. 212-2 à L. 212-5 du code du cinéma et de l’image animée pour la ou les salles dudit établissement.

Pour l’application des articles R. 1511-40 à R. 1511-43, le terme ” établissement ” s’entend de toute installation utilisée par l’exploitant en un lieu déterminé et qui fait l’objet d’une exploitation autonome. Sont également considérées comme établissement les exploitations ambulantes.
