Article R1524-3 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The term of office of representatives of shareholder local authorities and their groupings on the board of directors or supervisory board ends:

– as regards those of a commune when the municipal council is fully renewed;

– as regards those of a département when the département council is renewed every three years or in the event of dissolution;

– as regards those of a region, when the regional council is fully renewed;

– as regards those of a grouping, when the grouping’s deliberative assembly is partially or fully renewed.

Article R1524-3

Le mandat des représentants des collectivités territoriales et de leurs groupements actionnaires au conseil d’administration ou au conseil de surveillance prend fin :

– en ce qui concerne ceux d’une commune lors du renouvellement intégral du conseil municipal ;

– en ce qui concerne ceux d’un département lors de chaque renouvellement triennal du conseil départemental ou en cas de dissolution ;

– en ce qui concerne ceux d’une région, lors du renouvellement intégral du conseil régional ;

– en ce qui concerne ceux d’un groupement, lors du renouvellement partiel ou intégral de l’assemblée délibérante du groupement.
