Article R1824-1 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

I. – The provisions of Chapter VI of Title I of Book I of Part One mentioned in the left-hand column of the table below shall apply in French Polynesia, in the wording indicated in the right-hand column of the same table subject to the adaptations provided for in II and III.

II. – For the application of articles R. 1116-1 to R. 1116-5, the words: “representative of the State” are replaced by the words: “High Commissioner of the Republic in French Polynesia”.

III.
III – For the application of article R. 1116-5, the words: “to the delegate in the arrondissement of the representative of the State in the department” are replaced by the words: “to his delegate in the administrative subdivision”.

I. − Les dispositions du chapitre VI du titre Ier du livre Ier de la première partie mentionnées dans la colonne de gauche du tableau ci-après sont applicables en Polynésie française, dans leur rédaction indiquée dans la colonne de droite du même tableau sous réserve des adaptations prévues aux II et III.

III. − Pour l’application de l’article R. 1116-5, les mots : “ au délégué dans l’arrondissement du représentant de l’Etat dans le département ” sont remplacés par les mots : “ à son délégué dans la subdivision administrative ”.
