Article R212 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

Prints paid for as legal costs are made under contracts awarded for each court or tribunal jurisdiction by the public prosecutor or the public prosecutor, as the case may be, and which may only be executed with the prior approval of the Minister of Justice.

However, in the absence of such a contract, it may be dealt with by mutual agreement each time a print is to be made. Printed matter shall attach to each item of their brief a copy of the printed matter as supporting evidence.

Article R212
