Article R2141-26 of the French Public Health Code

Any health establishment, organisation, health cooperation group or medical biology laboratory mentioned in article R. 2141-25 and which imports or exports gametes from donations for the purposes of medically assisted procreation shall ensure that they have been obtained in accordance with the principles mentioned in article L. 2141-11-1 and applicable to such donations.

Health establishments, organisations, health cooperation groups or medical biology laboratories must not divulge any information that could identify both the person who has donated his gametes and the persons who will receive them.

Tout établissement de santé, organisme, groupements de coopération sanitaire ou laboratoire de biologie médicale mentionné à l’article R. 2141-25 et qui importe ou exporte des gamètes issus de dons à des fins d’assistance médicale à la procréation s’assure qu’ils ont été obtenus conformément aux principes mentionnés à l’article L. 2141-11-1 et applicables à de tels dons.

Les établissements de santé, organismes, groupements de coopération sanitaire ou laboratoires de biologie médicale ne doivent divulguer aucune information qui permettrait d’identifier à la fois la personne qui a fait don de ses gamètes et les personnes qui les recevront.
