Article R2142-22 of the French Public Health Code

The health care organisation in which the activities defined in 1° of Article R. 2142-1 are performed must have a doctor experienced in ultrasound and an anaesthetist-resuscitator. In addition, the establishment must enlist the help of a psychologist or a doctor qualified in psychiatry.

When oocyte retrieval is carried out by a practitioner meeting the criteria mentioned in article R. 2142-10 who does not have a surgical qualification, a practitioner with this qualification must be present in the health care establishment and ready to intervene at any time.

L’établissement de santé dans lequel sont pratiquées les activités définies au 1° de l’article R. 2142-1 doit disposer d’un médecin expérimenté en échographie et d’un anesthésiste réanimateur. En outre, l’établissement doit s’assurer le concours d’un psychologue ou d’un médecin qualifié en psychiatrie.

Lorsque le prélèvement d’ovocytes est réalisé par un praticien répondant aux critères mentionnés à l’article R. 2142-10 n’ayant pas de qualification chirurgicale, un praticien possédant cette qualification doit être présent dans l’établissement de santé et prêt à intervenir à tout moment.
