Article R2324-46 of the French Public Health Code

I.-The collective crèches and day nurseries mentioned in 1° of article R. 2324-17 fall into the following categories, according to the capacity provided for in the authorisation from the Chairman of the Departmental Council or in the request for an opinion sent to him:

1° Micro-crèches: establishments with a capacity of 12 places or less;

2° Small crèches: establishments with a capacity of between 13 and 24 places;

3° Crèches: establishments with a capacity of between 25 and 39 places;

4° Large crèches: establishments with a capacity of between 40 and 59 places;

5° Very large crèches: establishments with a capacity of 60 places or more.

II – In collective crèches and day nurseries, the maximum size of the reception units referred to in article R. 2324-28 is sixty places.

I.-Les crèches collectives et haltes-garderies mentionnées au 1° de l’article R. 2324-17 relèvent des catégories suivantes, selon la capacité d’accueil prévue par l’autorisation du président du conseil départemental ou figurant dans la demande d’avis qui lui a été adressée :

1° Les micro-crèches : établissements d’une capacité d’accueil inférieure ou égale à 12 places ;

2° Les petites crèches : établissements d’une capacité d’accueil comprise entre 13 et 24 places ;

3° Les crèches : établissements d’une capacité d’accueil comprise entre 25 et 39 places ;

4° Les grandes crèches : établissements d’une capacité d’accueil comprise entre 40 et 59 places ;

5° Les très grandes crèches : établissements d’une capacité d’accueil supérieure ou égale à 60 places.

II.-Dans les crèches collectives et haltes-garderies, la taille maximale des unités d’accueil visées à l’article R. 2324-28 est de soixante places.
