Article R2523-2 of the French Labour Code

The list of mediators to be appointed by the Minister responsible for labour for a dispute with a national impact or whose impact extends to more than one region shall include at least thirty names of personalities. This list is common to both agricultural and non-agricultural professions and is drawn up jointly by the ministers responsible for labour and agriculture.

Employers’ and employees’ organisations that are representative at national level have one month to submit their observations on this list.

It is published in the Official Journal of the French Republic after the consultation.

La liste des médiateurs appelés à être désignés par le ministre chargé du travail pour un conflit à incidence nationale ou dont l’incidence s’étend à plus d’une région comprend au moins trente noms de personnalités. Elle est commune pour les professions agricoles et non agricoles et est arrêtée conjointement par les ministres chargés du travail et de l’agriculture.

Les organisations d’employeurs et de salariés représentatives au niveau national disposent d’un délai d’un mois pour présenter leurs observations sur cette liste.

Elle est publiée au Journal officiel de la République française après la consultation.
