Article R3135-1 of the French Labour Code

Failure to grant an employee the daily rest period referred to in articles L. 3131-1 to L. 3131-3 is punishable by a fourth-class fine.
Contraventions give rise to as many fines as there are employees wrongfully employed.

Le fait de ne pas attribuer à un salarié le repos quotidien mentionné aux articles L. 3131-1 à L. 3131-3, est puni de l’amende prévue pour les contraventions de la quatrième classe.
Les contraventions donnent lieu à autant d’amendes qu’il y a de salariés indûment employés.
