Article R322-4 of the French Code of civil enforcement procedures

Within two months of publication in the property register of the summons to pay (commandement de payer valant saisie), the pursuing creditor summons the distrainee debtor to appear before the enforcement judge at an orientation hearing.
The summons is issued between one and three months before the date of the hearing.

Dans les deux mois qui suivent la publication au fichier immobilier du commandement de payer valant saisie, le créancier poursuivant assigne le débiteur saisi à comparaître devant le juge de l’exécution à une audience d’orientation.
L’assignation est délivrée dans un délai compris entre un et trois mois avant la date de l’audience.
