Article R351-2 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

Any person working in the waiting area may inform the person in charge of the waiting area or his/her representative of any situation of vulnerability of an asylum seeker that he/she has observed, or that the asylum seeker has reported.
The person in charge of the waiting area or his/her representative shall determine, where appropriate, the special arrangements for keeping an asylum seeker in the waiting area, taking account of the applicant’s situation of vulnerability.
Information attesting to a particular situation of vulnerability brought to the attention of the person in charge of the waiting area pursuant to the first paragraph shall be communicated orally or in writing, with the agreement of the asylum seeker, to the French Office for the Protection of Refugees and Stateless Persons.

Toute personne intervenant en zone d’attente peut signaler au responsable de la zone d’attente ou à son représentant la situation de vulnérabilité d’un demandeur d’asile qu’elle aurait constatée, ou dont le demandeur d’asile aurait fait état.
Le responsable de la zone d’attente ou son représentant détermine, le cas échéant, les modalités particulières de maintien en zone d’attente tenant compte de la situation de vulnérabilité du demandeur.
Les informations attestant d’une situation particulière de vulnérabilité portées à la connaissance du responsable de la zone d’attente en application du premier alinéa sont communiquées oralement ou par écrit, après accord du demandeur d’asile, à l’Office français de protection des réfugiés et apatrides.
