Article R40-12 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

Within a period of one month from the last of the notifications provided for in the first paragraph of the preceding article, the person lodging the appeal shall submit, against a receipt or by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, to the secretariat of the Commission his or her observations in response, which shall be communicated to the Public Prosecutor at the Court of Cassation and to the person mentioned in article R. 40-9 within the fifteen-day period.

The provisions of the second paragraph of article R. 33 are applicable.

Article R40-12

Dans le délai d’un mois à compter de la dernière des notifications prévues au premier alinéa de l’article précédent, l’auteur du recours remet contre récépissé ou adresse par lettre recommandée avec demande d’avis de réception au secrétariat de la commission ses observations en réponse qui sont communiquées au procureur général près la Cour de cassation et à la personne mentionnée à l’article R. 40-9 dans le délai de quinze jours.

Les dispositions du second alinéa de l’article R. 33 sont applicables.
