Article R40-6 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

The file on the reparation proceedings, together with the statement of appeal and the file on the criminal proceedings, shall be transmitted without delay by the registry of the court of appeal to the secretariat of the national commission.

The duties of secretary and registrar of the commission shall be performed by a registrar of the Cour de cassation.

Le dossier de la procédure de réparation, assorti de la déclaration de recours et du dossier de la procédure pénale, est transmis sans délai par le greffe de la cour d’appel au secrétariat de la commission nationale.

Les fonctions de secrétaire et de greffier de la commission sont remplies par un greffier de la Cour de cassation.
