I.-Health professionals must provide proof of their commitment to continuing professional development:
1° In the case of doctors, dental surgeons and midwives, from the relevant council of the professional association to which they belong. In the case of the professionals mentioned in article L. 4112-6, the employer, or the armed forces health service in the case of professionals covered by the provisions of article L. 4138-2 of the defence code, will exercise the powers conferred on the order;
2° For pharmacists, with the competent council of their order. For the pharmacists mentioned in article L. 4222-7, the employer, or the armed forces health service for professionals covered by the provisions of article L. 4138-2 of the defence code , exercises the powers entrusted to the pharmacists’ association;
3° For nurses, masseur-physiotherapists and chiropodists, with the competent council of the order to which they belong;
4° For medical auxiliaries belonging to professions not covered by a professional association, pharmacy assistants, nursing auxiliaries and childcare assistants, working as salaried employees in the public or private sector, with their employer;
5° For hearing-aid acousticians, opticians, prosthetists and orthotists for the fitting of orthopaedic devices for disabled people who are not salaried employees, and self-employed medical auxiliaries who are not members of a professional association, to the Director General of the Regional Health Agency;
6° For medical auxiliaries, pharmacy assistants and care assistants covered by the provisions of article L. 4138-2 of the Defence Code, to the Armed Forces Health Service.
II -Health professionals provide the authority responsible for monitoring compliance with the obligation with details of the traceability document defined in article R. 4021-5 attesting to compliance with their continuing professional development obligation.
