The Director General of the National Agency for Continuing Professional Development is appointed for a renewable term of three years by order of the ministers responsible for health and social security.
The Director General manages the Agency’s affairs, with the exception of those reserved for other bodies.
He prepares the decisions of the General Meeting of the founding members of the public interest grouping and of the Management Board and ensures that they are implemented.
It appoints and manages the agency’s staff.
He is the authorising officer for the agency’s expenditure and revenue. He appoints an authorising officer by delegation.
He represents the Agency in legal proceedings and in all civil acts.
The tasks of the Chief Executive of the Agency are specified, where necessary, in the agreement setting up the consortium.
