For the assessment of the condition of territorial presence provided for in article L. 4031-2, account is taken of the number of members up to date with their subscriptions according to the methods adopted for the application of 3° of article R. 162-54-1 of the Social Security Code. Trade union organisations wishing to present lists of candidates for the forthcoming elections must send documents proving their territorial presence and their minimum seniority of two years to the Minister for Health between the twelfth and ninth months preceding the end of the current term of office. A ministerial decree sets the list of trade unions authorised to present lists of candidates no later than six months before the end of the current term of office.
The election of the members of the assemblies of the regional unions representing the same health profession takes place on the same date in all the regions. This date, which corresponds to the date on which the votes are counted, is set by order of the Minister for Health. It must be at least one month before the expiry date of the term of office of the assemblies in office.
