Article R4127-272 of the French Public Health Code

When practising on a self-employed basis, dental surgeons may only have two practices, whatever the form.

However, the Conseil national de l’ordre may grant exemptions in exceptional cases, after consulting the departmental councils concerned.

Replacement is not considered to be another practice year within the meaning of these provisions.

The provisions of this article do not prevent the application of the provisions specific to companies practising the profession, and in particular those of articles R. 4113-24 and R. 4113-74.

Lorsqu’il exerce à titre libéral, le chirurgien-dentiste ne peut avoir que deux exercices, quelle qu’en soit la forme.

Toutefois, le Conseil national de l’ordre peut accorder, après avis des conseils départementaux concernés, des dérogations dans des cas exceptionnels.

Le remplacement n’est pas considéré comme un autre exercice au sens des présentes dispositions.

Les dispositions du présent article ne font pas obstacle à l’application des dispositions propres aux sociétés d’exercice de la profession, et notamment de celles des articles R. 4113-24 et R. 4113-74.
