Article R421-1-2 of the French Intellectual Property Code

The reality and content of the professional practice of the persons referred to in Article R. 421-1-1 as well as their knowledge of the ethical rules relating to the profession of industrial property attorney are subject, under the conditions laid down by order of the Minister responsible for industrial property, to scrutiny by the panel mentioned in Article R. 421-6. The jury also determines, in the light of the professional practice of the persons concerned, the specialisation to which their registration is subject.

Article R421-1-2

La réalité et le contenu de la pratique professionnelle des personnes visées à l’article R. 421-1-1 ainsi que leur connaissance des règles déontologiques relatives à la profession de conseil en propriété industrielle sont soumis, dans les conditions fixées par arrêté du ministre chargé de la propriété industrielle, au contrôle du jury mentionné à l’article R. 421-6. Ce jury détermine en outre, au vu de la pratique professionnelle des intéressés, la mention de spécialisation dont est assortie leur inscription.
