Subject to the provisions of Article R. 421-1-1, the registration of a natural person on the list of qualified industrial property persons provided for in Article L. 421-1 is subject to compliance with all of the following conditions:
1° Possession of a national postgraduate legal, scientific or technical degree awarded by a public scientific, cultural and professional establishment within the meaning of loi n° 84-52 du 26 janvier 1984 habilité à le délivrer, ou d’un titre reconnu équivalent dans des conditions fixées par arrêté conjoint du garde des sceaux, ministre de la justice, du ministre chargé de la propriété industrielle et du ministre chargé de l’enseignement supérieur ;
2° Possession of a diploma awarded by the Centre d’études internationales de la propriété industrielle (CEIPI) of the University of Strasbourg or a qualification recognised as equivalent under conditions laid down by joint order of the Minister of Justice, the Minister responsible for industrial property and the Minister responsible for higher education;
3° Possession of a diploma awarded by the Centre d’études internationales de la propriété industrielle (CEIPI) of the University of Strasbourg or a qualification recognised as equivalent under conditions laid down by joint order of the Minister of Justice, the Minister responsible for industrial property and the Minister responsible for higher education;
3° At least three years’ professional experience;
4° Successful completion of an aptitude test in the French language, the procedures and syllabus of which are laid down, for each specialisation, by joint order of the Minister of Justice, the Minister responsible for industrial property and the Minister responsible for higher education. The tests are adapted for professional representatives before the European Patent Office.
