Article R422-2 of the French Intellectual Property Code

Inclusion on the list provided for in Article R. 422-1 is subject to the following conditions:

1° Offering or undertaking to offer within three months to the public the services provided for in Article L. 422-1 either individually or as part of a group, or as an employee of another industrial property attorney or of an industrial property firm;

2° Be of French nationality or a national of another Member State of the European Community or of another State party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area;

3° Have a domicile or professional establishment in France;

4° Provide proof of the insurance and guarantee provided for in Article L. 422-8, or undertake to produce such evidence within three months, which evidence must be produced every year after registration.

Article R422-2

L’inscription sur la liste prévue à l’article R. 422-1 est subordonnée aux conditions suivantes :

1° Offrir ou s’engager à offrir dans un délai de trois mois au public les services prévus à l’article L. 422-1 soit à titre individuel ou en groupe, soit comme salarié d’un autre conseil en propriété industrielle ou d’une société de conseil en propriété industrielle ;

2° Etre de nationalité française ou ressortissant d’un autre Etat membre de la Communauté européenne ou d’un autre Etat partie à l’accord sur l’Espace économique européen ;

3° Avoir un domicile ou un établissement professionnel en France ;

4° Justifier de l’assurance et de la garantie prévues à l’article L. 422-8, ou prendre l’engagement de produire de telles justifications dans un délai de trois mois, ces justifications devant, après l’inscription, être produites tous les ans.
