Article R422-46 of the French Intellectual Property Code

Companies for the liberal practice of industrial property attorneys are subject to the provisions relating to the obligations, guarantee and discipline applicable to the profession of industrial property attorney.

However, the companies may not be subject to disciplinary proceedings independently of those that would be brought against the attorneys associated within these companies practising the profession.

Les sociétés d’exercice libéral de conseils en propriété industrielle sont soumises aux dispositions relatives aux obligations, à la garantie et à la discipline applicables à la profession de conseil en propriété industrielle.

Toutefois, les sociétés ne peuvent faire l’objet de poursuites disciplinaires indépendamment de celles qui seraient intentées à l’encontre des conseils associés au sein de ces sociétés exerçant la profession.
