The climate, air and energy objectives relate to:
– the mitigation of climate change;
– the adaptation to climate change;
– the fight against atmospheric pollution;
– the control of energy consumption, both primary and final, in particular through energy renovation;
– the development of renewable energies and recovered energies, in particular that of wind power and biomass energy, where appropriate by geographical area.
The quantitative targets for energy management, climate change mitigation and the fight against air pollution are set by the plan for the median year of each of the two most distant carbon budgets adopted pursuant to Articles L. 222-1-A to L. 222-1-D of the Environment Code and the more distant horizons mentioned in article L. 100-4 of the Energy Code.
