Article R4252-4 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

At the request of the committee, the heads of the State’s regional services and the regional academic delegate for research and innovation or, in French Guyana, the regional delegate for research and technology may, with the agreement of the regional prefect, attend the work of the committee, its commissions and working groups. The regional prefect may be heard by the committee with his agreement or at his request.

A la demande du comité, les chefs des services régionaux de l’Etat et le délégué régional académique à la recherche et à l’innovation ou, en Guyane, le délégué régional à la recherche et à la technologie peuvent, avec l’accord du préfet de région, assister aux travaux du comité, de ses commissions et groupes de travail. Le préfet de région peut être entendu par le comité avec son accord ou à sa demande.
