In application of article L. 4301-1 and under the conditions of article L. 4311-4, the regional prefect may, after receiving the opinion of the committee referred to in the first paragraph of article L. 4311-4 sitting in the composition provided for in the third paragraph of this article, individually authorise nationals of a Member State of the European Union or of another State party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, who hold evidence of formal qualifications issued by another Member State of the European Union or by another State party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, allowing them to practise the profession of advanced practice nurse, to practise the profession of advanced practice nurse.
The authorisation to practise as an advanced practice nurse is issued under the conditions laid down in articles R. 4311-34 to R. 4311-37.
The composition of the committee provided for in article R. 4311-36-1 is completed by two nurses holding the State diploma in advanced practice nursing, in the field provided for in article R. 4301-1 requested by the person concerned, at least one of whom is taking part in the preparatory training for this diploma. The doctor on the committee is a doctor whose medical practice is relevant to the area of intervention concerned.
