Nurses always act in the patient’s best interests.
Their care is conscientious, attentive and based on scientific knowledge.
They devote the necessary time to this task, using the most appropriate scientific and professional methods wherever possible. Where necessary, he shall seek appropriate assistance.
He must not, save in exceptional circumstances, undertake or continue care in areas which exceed his knowledge, experience, skills or the means at his disposal.
Nurses may not advise or propose to patients or their families, as being beneficial or without danger, a remedy or procedure that is illusory or insufficiently tested. Any practice of charlatanism is prohibited.
