Article R4312-84 of the French Public Health Code

During the replacement period, the replaced nurse must refrain from any professional nursing activity, except in the event of failure to assist a person in danger and at the request of the authorities in the event of an emergency, disaster or calamity, as referred to in the second paragraph of article R. 4312-8.

When the nurse being replaced practices within the framework of an association or company, he/she shall inform the latter.

Durant la période de remplacement, l’infirmier remplacé doit s’abstenir de toute activité professionnelle infirmière, sous réserve des hypothèses de non-assistance à personne en péril et de demande de l’autorité en cas d’urgence, de sinistre ou de calamité, telle que mentionnée au second alinéa de l’article R. 4312-8.

Lorsque l’infirmier remplacé exerce dans le cadre d’une association ou d’une société, il en informe celle-ci.
