Article R4321-99 of the French Public Health Code

Masseur-physiotherapists shall maintain good fraternal relations with each other. It is forbidden for a masseur-physiotherapist to slander another masseur-physiotherapist, to speak ill of him or her, or to echo comments that may harm him or her in the practice of his or her profession. It is forbidden to take improper credit for a scientific discovery, particularly in a publication, or to plagiarise, including in the context of initial and continuing training.

Any masseur-physiotherapist who has a dispute with a colleague shall seek conciliation, if necessary through the intermediary of the Conseil Départemental de l’Ordre.

Les masseurs-kinésithérapeutes entretiennent entre eux des rapports de bonne confraternité. Il est interdit à un masseur-kinésithérapeute d’en calomnier un autre, de médire de lui ou de se faire l’écho de propos capables de lui nuire dans l’exercice de sa profession. Il est interdit de s’attribuer abusivement, notamment dans une publication, le mérite d’une découverte scientifique ainsi que de plagier, y compris dans le cadre d’une formation initiale et continue.


Le masseur-kinésithérapeute qui a un différend avec un confrère recherche une conciliation, au besoin par l’intermédiaire du conseil départemental de l’ordre.
