Les matériaux constitutifs des éléments d’un échafaudage sont d’une solidité et d’une résistance appropriées à leur emploi.
Les assemblages sont réalisés de manière sûre, à l’aide d’éléments compatibles d’une même origine et dans les conditions pour lesquelles ils ont été testés.
Ces éléments font l’objet d’une vérification de leur bon état de conservation avant toute opération de montage d’un échafaudage.
