The medical radiology technician is authorised to participate, under the responsibility and in the presence of the doctor mentioned in article R. 4351-1, and, where appropriate, a medical physicist, in the field which concerns him/her, in application of a written qualitative and quantitative protocol, drawn up in advance, dated and signed by this doctor, in the performance of the following acts and activities:
1° In the field of medical imaging :
Interventional imaging procedures, in the radiology environment and in the operating theatre;
2° In the field of nuclear medicine:
a) Stress tests;
b) Administration of radiopharmaceutical drugs for therapeutic purposes;
3° In the field of radiotherapy:
a) Installation of carrier material and application of radioactive sources;
b) Installation and verification of patient positioning during the implementation of total body irradiation sessions;
c) Installation and verification of patient positioning during the implementation of hypofractionated treatments delivered with a dose per fraction greater than a threshold set by order of the Minister for Health;
4° In the field of functional explorations:
Carrying out electrophysiological and magnetophysiological explorations to guide a medical procedure.
