Article R4352-11 of the French Public Health Code

The commission of medical laboratory technicians for the region designated by order of the Minister for Health comprises :

1° The Regional Director for Youth, Sport and Social Cohesion or his/her representative, as Chairman ;

2° The Director General of the Regional Health Agency or his representative;

3° The academic regional rector or his representative;

4° A medical biologist;

5° A medical specialist qualified in anatomy and pathological cytology;

6° A medical laboratory technician working in a health establishment;

7° A medical laboratory technician working in the private sector.

An order of the Regional Prefect, issued on the recommendation of the Regional Director of Youth, Sport and Social Cohesion, appoints the full and alternate members mentioned in 4° to 7° for a renewable period of five years.

Article R4352-11

La commission des techniciens de laboratoire médical de la région désignée par arrêté du ministre chargé de la santé comprend :

1° Le directeur régional de la jeunesse, des sports et de la cohésion sociale ou son représentant, président ;

2° Le directeur général de l’agence régionale de santé ou son représentant ;

3° Le recteur de région académique ou son représentant ;

4° Un biologiste médical ;

5° Un médecin spécialiste qualifié en anatomie et cytologie pathologique ;

6° Un technicien de laboratoire médical exerçant ses fonctions dans un établissement de santé ;

7° Un technicien de laboratoire médical exerçant ses fonctions dans le secteur libéral.

Un arrêté du préfet de région, pris sur proposition du directeur régional de la jeunesse, des sports et de la cohésion sociale, nomme, pour une durée de cinq ans renouvelable, les membres titulaires et suppléants mentionnés aux 4° à 7°.
