When carrying out the risk assessment, the employer shall take into account the following elements:
1° The level, type and duration of exposure, including any exposure to impulsive noise;
2° The exposure limit values and the exposure values triggering preventive action laid down in Chapter I;
3° Any impact on the health and safety of workers who are particularly sensitive to this risk, in particular pregnant women;
4° Taking into account the state of scientific knowledge and insofar as is technically feasible, any impact on the health and safety of workers resulting from interactions between noise and substances toxic to hearing of occupational origin and between noise and vibrations;
5° Any indirect impact on the health and safety of workers resulting from interactions between noise and alarm signals or other sounds which must be observed in order to reduce the risk of accidents;
6° Information on noise emissions provided by manufacturers of work equipment, in application of the technical design rules mentioned in Article R. 4312-1;
7° The existence of work equipment enabling noise emissions to be reduced and likely to be used to replace existing equipment;
8° The extension of exposure to noise beyond working hours, in places under the employer’s responsibility;
9° The occupational physician’s conclusions concerning the monitoring of workers’ health;
10° The provision of individual hearing protectors with adequate attenuation characteristics.
