Article R4451-101 of the French Labour Code

The employer shall set up a radiation protection organisation adapted to the radiological emergency situation, in particular:

1° He shall appoint, if he has not already done so in another capacity, a radiation protection advisor under the conditions laid down in Article R. 4451-112 ;

2° It shall, if possible, identify and delimit, within the perimeters mentioned in II of Article R. 4451-96, the zones specific to the radiological emergency situation, in order to organise the collective and individual protection measures appropriate to the situation.

Article R4451-101

L’employeur met en place une organisation de la radioprotection adaptée à la situation d’urgence radiologique, notamment :

1° Il désigne, s’il ne l’a pas déjà fait à un autre titre, un conseiller en radioprotection dans les conditions prévues à l’article R. 4451-112 ;

2° Il signale et délimite, si possible, dans les périmètres mentionnés au II de l’article R. 4451-96 les zones spécifiques à la situation d’urgence radiologique, afin d’organiser les mesures de protection collective et individuelle adaptées à la situation.
