Article R4451-106 of the French Labour Code

The occupational health physician and the radiation protection advisor shall work together to implement the individual dosimetric monitoring provided for in 4° of Article R. 4451-102 or the exposure assessment provided for in 3° of Article R. 4451-103.

If necessary, they shall seek technical support from the Institut de Radioprotection et de Sûreté Nucléaire.

They shall inform the employer, each insofar as he is concerned, in the form and under the conditions laid down in Articles R. 4451-75 and R. 4451-76 respectively, when the exposure of a worker is likely to exceed one of the reference levels mentioned in Article R. 4451-11.

They shall inform the worker concerned, each as far as he is concerned.

Le médecin du travail et le conseiller en radioprotection mettent en œuvre de manière concertée la surveillance dosimétrique individuelle prévue au 4° de l’article R. 4451-102 ou l’évaluation des expositions prévue au 3° de l’article R. 4451-103.


Ils recourent, si nécessaire, à l’appui technique de l’Institut de radioprotection et de sûreté nucléaire.


Ils informent, chacun en ce qui le concerne, l’employeur, sous les formes et conditions respectivement prévues aux articles R. 4451-75 et R. 4451-76, lorsque l’exposition d’un travailleur est susceptible de dépasser l’un des niveaux de référence mentionnés à l’article R. 4451-11.


Ils en informent, chacun en ce qui le concerne, le travailleur concerné.
