Article R4451-111 of the French Labour Code

The employer, the head of the external company or the self-employed worker shall, where appropriate, set up a radiation protection organisation when the nature and extent of the risk of exposure of workers to ionising radiation leads him to implement at least one of the following measures:

1° The implementation of individual dosimetric monitoring pursuant to I of Article R. 4451-64;

2° Zone demarcation under the conditions set out in Articles R. 4451-22 and R. 4451-28;

3° The checks provided for in section 6 of this chapter.

L’employeur, le chef de l’entreprise extérieure ou le travailleur indépendant met en place, le cas échant, une organisation de la radioprotection lorsque la nature et l’ampleur du risque d’exposition des travailleurs aux rayonnements ionisants le conduisent à mettre en œuvre au moins l’une des mesures suivantes :


1° La mise en œuvre d’une surveillance dosimétrique individuelle en application du I de l’article R. 4451-64 ;


2° La délimitation de zone dans les conditions fixées aux articles R. 4451-22 et R. 4451-28 ;


3° Les vérifications prévues à la section 6 du présent chapitre.
