Article R4451-125 of the French Labour Code

To be designated as a radiation protection advisor, the following is required:

1° For the person competent in radiation protection, a training certificate issued by a training body certified by a certifying body accredited by the French Accreditation Committee or by any other body mentioned in Article R. 4724-1;

2° For the body competent in radiation protection, a certification issued by a certifying body accredited by the French Accreditation Committee or by any other body mentioned in Article R. 4724-1;

3° For the centre of expertise in radiation protection, approval, as appropriate, from the Nuclear Safety Authority or the delegate for nuclear safety and radiation protection for defence-related installations and activities.

Pour être désigné conseiller en radioprotection est requis :

1° Pour la personne compétente en radioprotection, un certificat de formation délivré par un organisme de formation certifié par un organisme certificateur accrédité par le Comité français d’accréditation ou par tout autre organisme mentionné à l’article R. 4724-1 ;

2° Pour l’organisme compétent en radioprotection, une certification délivrée par un organisme certificateur accrédité par le Comité français d’accréditation ou par tout autre organisme mentionné à l’article R. 4724-1 ;

3° Pour le pôle de compétences en radioprotection, une approbation, selon le cas, de l’Autorité de sûreté nucléaire ou du délégué à la sûreté nucléaire et à la radioprotection pour les installations et activités intéressant la défense.
