Article R4451-5 of the French Labour Code

In accordance with the general principles of prevention set out in Article L. 4121-2 of this Code and the general principles of personal radiation protection set out in Articles L. 1333-2 and L. 1333-3 of the Public Health Code, the employer shall take preventive measures to eliminate or reduce to a minimum the risks resulting from exposure to ionising radiation, taking into account technical progress and the availability of measures to control the risk at source.

Conformément aux principes généraux de prévention énoncés à l’article L. 4121-2 du présent code et aux principes généraux de radioprotection des personnes énoncés aux articles L. 1333-2 et L. 1333-3 du code de la santé publique, l’employeur prend des mesures de prévention visant à supprimer ou à réduire au minimum les risques résultant de l’exposition aux rayonnements ionisants, en tenant compte du progrès technique et de la disponibilité de mesures de maîtrise du risque à la source.
