Article R50-44 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

The proof and declaration of a change of address provided for in article 706-25-7 shall be made by means of any document less than three months old in the name of the person concerned establishing the reality of his or her place of residence, in particular a receipt or invoice. If the proof produced relates to the residence of a third party, it must be accompanied by an accommodation certificate drawn up and signed by the third party, as well as a copy of any valid identity document of the person signing the certificate.

The prior declaration of travel provided for in 3° and 4° of Article 706-25-7 shall specify the dates, the destination of the planned travel and the address where the person will be staying during this travel.

La justification et la déclaration de changement d’adresse prévues par l’article 706-25-7 se font au moyen de tout document de moins de trois mois au nom de l’intéressé établissant la réalité de son domicile, notamment d’une quittance ou d’une facture. Si le justificatif produit se rapporte au domicile d’un tiers, il doit être accompagné d’une attestation d’hébergement établie et signée par celui-ci, ainsi que d’une copie de tout document d’identité en cours de validité du signataire de l’attestation.


La déclaration préalable de déplacement prévue aux 3° et 4° de l’article 706-25-7 précise les dates, la destination du déplacement envisagé et l’adresse où se trouvera la personne pendant ce déplacement.
