I. – The Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution or the European Central Bank, as the case may be, shall decide on an application for the authorisation provided for in Article L. 511-10 within six months of receipt.
Where the application is incomplete, the AMF or the European Central Bank, as the case may be, shall take a decision within six months of receiving all the necessary information. However, the total period allowed for the Authority or the European Central Bank, as the case may be, to take its decision may not exceed twelve months from receipt of the initial application.
II. – When, in accordance with Article L. 515-1, a company submits the same application to obtain, on the one hand, authorisation as a finance company and, on the other hand, one of the authorisations provided for in Articles L. 522-6, L. 526-7 or L. 532-2, the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution shall decide on this application within the time limits provided for in I.
III. – The Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution shall ensure that the authorisation procedure referred to in Ia of Article L. 511-10 takes into account the information used in previous authorisations.
