Article R514-23 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

The guidance and supervisory board of a caisse de crédit municipal comprises, in addition to the chairman, between six and twenty members.

The number of members of the guidance and supervisory board is decided by the mayor of the municipality in which the caisse has its registered office, after consultation with the director of the caisse de crédit municipal. The mayor informs the municipal council of his decision.

Le conseil d’orientation et de surveillance d’une caisse de crédit municipal comprend, outre le président, six à vingt membres.

Le nombre de membres du conseil d’orientation et de surveillance est arrêté par le maire de la commune où la caisse a son siège, après avis du directeur de la caisse de crédit municipal. Le maire informe le conseil municipal de sa décision.
