Article R514-5 of the French Intellectual Property Code

The procedures for submitting the application and the contents of the file shall be specified by decision of the Director General of the National Institute of Industrial Property, in particular as regards:

1° The application for registration and the material specifications to be met by the graphic or photographic reproduction provided for in Article R. 512-3;

2° The declaration of extension provided for in Article R. 513-1 ;

3° The application for entry in the National Designs Register provided for in Articles R. 512-15 and R. 512-17 ;

4° The procedures for the simplified filings provided for in Article L. 512-2.

Les modalités de présentation du dépôt et le contenu du dossier sont précisés par décision du directeur général de l’Institut national de la propriété industrielle, notamment en ce qui concerne :

1° La demande d’enregistrement et les spécifications matérielles auxquelles doit répondre la reproduction graphique ou photographique prévue à l’article R. 512-3 ;

2° La déclaration de prorogation prévue à l’article R. 513-1 ;

3° La demande d’inscription au Registre national des dessins et modèles prévue aux articles R. 512-15 et R. 512-17 ;

4° Les modalités des dépôts simplifiés prévus à l’article L. 512-2.
