Article R518-33 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations employees may only refuse to remit amounts claimed in the following cases:

1° On the basis of opposition in their hands, either on the generality of the deposit, or on the portion claimed, or on the claimant ;

2° On the grounds that the documents produced in support of the request for payment are not in order.

In this case, they must, before the expiry of the tenth day, notify the claimants of the said objections or irregularities, by service on them at their elected domicile, and shall not be bound until ten days after service of the releases or of the report of the documents that have been put in order.

Les préposés de la Caisse des dépôts et consignations ne peuvent refuser les remises réclamées que dans les cas suivants :

1° Sur le fondement d’opposition dans leurs mains, soit sur la généralité de la consignation, soit sur la portion réclamée, soit sur la personne requérante ;

2° Sur le défaut de régularité des pièces produites à l’appui de la demande de paiement.

Ils doivent, dans ce cas, avant l’expiration du dixième jour, dénoncer lesdites oppositions ou irrégularités aux requérants, par signification au domicile élu, et ne sont contraignables que dix jours après la signification des mainlevées ou du rapport des pièces régularisées.
