The Prefect decides on the application for financial assistance.
However, where the aid likely to be granted exceeds an amount set by joint order of the ministers responsible for the budget and employment, the prefect’s order is forwarded to the minister responsible for employment before being implemented. The minister has fifteen days from receipt of the order to review the case and decide on the application.

Le préfet statue sur la demande d’aide financière.
Toutefois, lorsque l’aide susceptible d’être accordée excède un montant fixé par arrêté conjoint des ministres chargés du budget et de l’emploi, l’arrêté du préfet est, avant mise à exécution, transmis au ministre chargé de l’emploi, qui dispose d’un délai de quinze jours à compter de la réception de cet arrêté pour évoquer le dossier et statuer sur la demande.
