Article R5215-19 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

Each year, the mayor notifies the chairman of the community council of the programme of maintenance work that the town council decides to have carried out on the roads temporarily retained by the commune.

In an emergency, the chairman of the community council will at any time, at the mayor’s request, ensure that work not included in the programme is carried out.

Le maire notifie annuellement au président du conseil de communauté le programme des travaux d’entretien que le conseil municipal décide de faire effectuer sur les voies conservées temporairement par la commune.

En cas d’urgence, le président du conseil de communauté assure à tout moment, à la demande du maire, l’exécution de travaux non inscrits au programme.
