Article R522-5 of the French Code of civil enforcement procedures

If the protective attachment is carried out in the hands of a third party, it shall be carried out as set out in Articles R. 221-21 to R. 221-29, except as regards the first paragraph of Article R. 221-21 and Article R. 221-26 which are not applicable.
The writ of attachment is served on the debtor within eight days, failing which it lapses. It shall also contain, under penalty of nullity:
1° A copy of the authorisation of the judge or of the title, as the case may be, by virtue of which the seizure was carried out;
2° A mention, in very conspicuous characters, of the debtor’s right, if the conditions for the validity of the seizure are not met, to apply to the enforcement judge of the place of his own domicile for the seizure to be declared null and void;
3° A reproduction of Articles R. 511-1 to R. 512-3.

Si la saisie conservatoire est pratiquée entre les mains d’un tiers, il est procédé comme il est dit aux articles R. 221-21 à R. 221-29, sauf en ce qui concerne le premier alinéa de l’article R. 221-21 et l’article R. 221-26 qui ne sont pas applicables.
A peine de caducité, l’acte de saisie est signifié au débiteur dans un délai de huit jours. Il contient, en outre, à peine de nullité :
1° Une copie de l’autorisation du juge ou du titre, selon le cas, en vertu duquel la saisie a été pratiquée ;
2° La mention, en caractères très apparents, du droit qui appartient au débiteur, si les conditions de validité de la saisie ne sont pas réunies, d’en demander la nullité au juge de l’exécution du lieu de son propre domicile ;
3° La reproduction des articles R. 511-1 à R. 512-3.
