Article R53-30 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

At the end of the hearing, the person is asked to reread his or her statement as it has just been transcribed, to state whether he or she declares that his or her statements remain unchanged and to sign the separate minutes. This is mentioned in the main record, each page of which is signed, depending on the case, by the judicial police officer or the public prosecutor or by the liberty and custody judge or the investigating judge as well as his clerk and, where applicable, by the interpreter.

A l’issue de son audition, la personne est invitée à relire sa déposition telle qu’elle vient d’être transcrite, à préciser si elle déclare persister dans ses déclarations et à signer le procès-verbal distinct. Mention en est faite au procès-verbal principal, dont chaque page est signée, selon les cas, par l’officier de police judiciaire ou le procureur de la République ou par le juge des libertés et de la détention ou le juge d’instruction ainsi que son greffier et, le cas échéant, par l’interprète.
