To satisfy the obligation of presentation referred to in the fifth paragraph of Article 706-53-5, the supporting document referred to in the first paragraph of Article R. 53-8-13 is delivered in person by the person concerned either to the police station or gendarmerie unit where he or she lives, or to the departmental gendarmerie group or the departmental public security directorate on which his or her home depends, or to the service designated by the Paris police prefecture in other cases, within the first fifteen days of the month of the anniversary date referred to in Article R. 53-8-14 and within the first fifteen days of the sixth month following. Where the person has elected domicile under the conditions provided for in article L. 264-1 of the Code de l’action sociale et des familles, the proof referred to in the second paragraph of article R. 53-8-13 is handed over in person by the person concerned either to the police station or gendarmerie unit, or to the departmental gendarmerie group or the departmental public security directorate responsible for the place where he/she has taken up residence or the place closest to where he/she is on the date on which this proof is to be provided.
The proof is also handed over in person by the person concerned within fifteen days of the date on which notification of the obligations was given or sent to him/her, unless this notification occurs less than two months before the first day of the anniversary month or unless the person concerned, due to a previous entry in the file, is already required to provide proof of his/her address.
If the convicted offender is required to report monthly, this must be done within the first fifteen days of each month, and the convicted offender must produce proof of his address each time he reports; the provisions of the second paragraph do not then apply.
